The newly established (in 2010) Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) based in Rampur Chitwan is the first agriculture and forestry university in Nepal. This university is formed my merging Rampur Agriculture Campus of the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS, TU) and Forestry Campus, Hetauda of Institute of Forestry (IOF, TU) which were under the Tribhuvan University.
THE AFU has published a notice regarding application for admission in BSc Agriculture (B.Sc.Ag.), Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), B.Sc.Forestry for the academic year 2069-2070.

Entrance Examination: 11:00AM on 6 Magh 2069 (19 January 2013) â€" Saturday.
