Chevening Scholarship in Nepal is offered by the British Embassy and Cambridge Overseas Trust. These scholarships are provided by the UK government.
Chevening Scholarship Nepal supports Nepalese students to study for a Master’s degree in any institution in the UK.
More than 100 Nepalese citizens have won the Chevening Scholarship until now.
In year, 2012/2013 there were two fully funded Nepal Chevening Scholars.
Most of the subjects are available for this scholarship however preference for year 2012-2013 are the following courses:
•  Human Rights and Rule of Law
•  Development Economics
•  Conflict and National Security studies
•  Climate Change
•  Media and Journalism
To be eligible, you must have English language qualification IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in every test.
- The deadline for 2013-2014 is 20 December 2012 for Chevening Scholarships Nepal.
- The deadline for 2013-2014 for Chevening Cambridge Scholarships Nepal (to study at University of Cambridge) is 4 December 2012.
