Scholarship For: Nepalese students in Class 11 (XI) in Nepal
Embassy of India, Kathmandu has published the official notification asking for applications towards Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for Nepalese citizens students who are currently already admitted in Grade 11 (Class-XI) in the schools and colleges in Nepal.
A total of one thousand scholarships quota will be given for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Apart from being Nepali citizen, there are also other requirements to apply for the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for Nepalese Students. The students must have scored minimum 55% marks in aggregate in SLC Level if they have finished schooling from Government schools or 75% marks in aggregate if they have finished schooling from private schools Ă¢" this is for Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts. And apart from that, for the students outside valley, minimum 50% marks is required if they have finished school from Government schools or 70% if they have finished from private schools.
The total family income must be less than One Lakhs Twenty Thousand Rupees. The age of the student must be from 15 to 20 years by 01/07/2012.
