The University of Bradford Global Development Scholarships (formerly known as Countries in Crisis Scholarships) are intended to aid students in financial hardship due to the fact that they are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political situation, war, natural disaster etc.

Students from the following list of countries are invited to apply for these scholarships. However in extreme circumstances applications from students from other countries will be considered by the panel.
Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte dâIvoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Democratic Peopleâs Republic of Korea, Lebanon,Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan*, Russia (North Caucasus), Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Syrian Arab Republic, United Republic of Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
*.Students from Pakistan will be considered under the Bestway Foundation Scholarship Scheme.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
Full tuition fees and accommodation in The Green will be covered plus £3,500 per annum living costs to be paid in three instalments â" October, January and April. Each scholarship is worth approximately £20,000.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, students must be enrolled (or intending to enroll) in a full-time Masterâs programme (not MBA) based at the University of Bradford. You must also meet the minimum entry requirements (both academic and English Language) to be considered.

To apply, you must submit the web application form by 29 May 2014.  You no longer need to have secured an offer to study at Bradford before you apply for this scholarship.  If you cannot come to Bradford without the full scholarship to cover your fees and living expenses then please apply for the scholarship before applying for a place.
