Most Universities in the European Union donât charge tuition fee for students from EU/EEA countries. To attract students outside the EU/EEA, a number of Universities in Europe have tuition fee waivers or scholarship programs for non-EU international students. Edinburgh Global Masters Scholarships (UK)
The University of Edinburgh offers around 40 Masterâs scholarships for postgraduate Masterâs programme in any subject offered by the University. The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis.  Fifteen (15) scholarships will have a value of £5,000 each while a further twenty-five (25) scholarships will have a value of £3,000 which will be tenable for one academic year.
Sheffield Hallam University Transform Together Scholarships for Non-EU Students (UK)
Transform Together scholarships are open to students from any non-EU country applying to study full time postgraduate or undergraduate programme at Sheffield Hallam University.  The scholarships are specially targeted to international students who want to represent the international student body at Sheffield Hallam University.  The scholarships include a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time taught postgraduate courses and 50% tuition fee discount for each year of an undergraduate course (subject to successful progression).
Leiden University Excellence Scholarships (Netherlands)
The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Programme (LExS) is open to outstanding Non-EU/EEA students pursuing a masterâs degree programme at Leiden University. Depending on the studentâs merit, the scholarship covers 25-100% of the tuition fees. The highest award covers the tuition fee minus the home fee* and an allowance of â¬10,000 for living costs.
University of Twente Scholarships (Netherlands)
University Twente Scholarships (UTS) are scholarships for excellent students from non-EEA countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.   The scholarship amount for students from non-EU/EEA countries is either ⬠10,000, ⬠12,500, â¬20,000, or ⬠22,500.
University of Maastricht High Potential Scholarships (Netherlands)
University of Maastrichts High Potential Scholarships are made available to talented students from outside the EU/EEA to follow a Masterâs programme at Maastricht University. Â The scholarships cover tuition fee, living expenses per month, insurance, and visa costs.
Amsterdam Merit Scholarships (Netherlands)
The University of Amsterdam aims to attract the worldâs brightest students to its international classrooms. Outstanding students from outside the European Economic Area can apply for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship.  Depending on the faculty, the scholarship can vary between â¬2,000 â" â¬24,000.  Please note that the scholarship cannot be used as a (partial) tuition waiver.

Lund University Global Scholarships for Non-EU/EEA Students (Sweden)
The Lund University Global Scholarship programme is targeted at top academic students who are citizens of countries from outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland). Top academic students have a proven record of achieving consistently high grades in previous studies. The scholarship is selective and completely merit based.   The scholarships may cover 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the tuition fee. The scholarship value is deducted from the tuition fee of the programme or free-standing course for which you are awarded a scholarship.
Umea University Scholarships for High-Achieving Students (Sweden)
UmeÃ¥ University welcomes talented and high-achieving students from outside the EU/EEA to UmeÃ¥ University Scholarship: This is a general scholarship programme offered by UmeÃ¥ University which is open for students admitted to one of the Masterâs study programmes offered.  Selected candidates receive a full or partial reduction of the tuition fee.
Emily Boutmy Scholarships for International Students (France)
Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy Scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po in order to attract the very best international students from outside of the European Union.  The Emily Boutmy Masterâs Programme can take different forms ranging from â¬5,000 to â¬16,000  for 2 years of postgraduate study or â¬3,000 to â¬12,300  for 3 years of undergraduate study.
Danish State Tuition Fee Waivers and Scholarships at Roskilde University (Denmark)
A limited number of Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships are offered to highly talented students at graduate level, who come from countries outside of the EU/EEA and need a residence permit to study at Roskilde University.  Four (4) Tuition fee waivers with a monthly scholarship worth DKK 7,800 per month will be offered to academically highly qualified applicants for specific programmes while ten (10) Tuition Fee Waivers will be offered to academically highly qualified applicants for the remaining master programmes as specified in the list of programmes.
