A notice has been published by University of Melbourne, Australia regarding its scholarship programme that is targeted to international students who are eligible and are undergoing research degrees at University of Melbourne for the academic year 2013-2014. The name of this scholarship scheme is called the Melbourne International Fee Remission Scholarship (MIFRS). This scholarship is provided every year.
This University of Melbourne scholarship for international students â€" MIFRS provides the full international tuition fees for those who are selected for the scholarship. However, this scholarship does not cover insurance for international students.
To be eligible for Melbourne International Fee Remission Scholarship, the prospective student has to be an international student (Nepalese students are eligible) and should be willing to (and fulfil the criteria) get admitted in research degrees â€" Master by Research or PhD degrees.
Every year approximately one hundred and fifty such international scholarships are provided by University of Melbourne.
The deadline for application is 31 August (2013). It is recommended to apply as early as possible.
