University of the West (UWest) in California, USA has published a notice on Lotus Scholarship program. The scholarship program is targeted for both domestic and international students who are looking to study either Bachelors or Masters degrees at University of the West.
The scholarship is provided every year and during the academic year 2012-2013 they offered scholarship of more than 500,000 US Dollars.
For international students, University of the West provides scholarship of $10,000. Though, the university provides full scholarship for the selected applicants, students will have to sustain the scholarships once they get it.
The students who are seeking for bachelors or master’s degree are eligible for Lotus scholarship. Students will have to meet English proficiency and also should have GPA in between 3-3.25. Students looking for PhD are not eligible for the scholarship.
Approximately 60 students are granted scholarships by University of the West every year.
The last date to apply for Lotus Scholarship is 15 February (2013).

Application Procedure
Applicants will have to fill up UWest Financial Aid form and UWest International supplement application for financial aid and submit it along with a copy of official transcript of the highest education and TOEFL or IELTS score report.
