Waseda University has invited applications for graduate scholarships available for the citizens of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau. Scholarships are awarded students to pursue masters or professional degree for academic year 2015. All of the applicants must be under the age of 30 at the time of enrollment into the Graduate Schools of Waseda University. Scholarships are awarded for the maximum duration of 2 years which include tuition fees and daily expenses of 1,500,000JPY/year. Candidates must submit the application by 10th October, 2014.
Study Subject(s): Scholarship is awarded to students for studying all the subjects available within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue masters or professional degree.

Eligibility: Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for consideration for the scholarship:
-Desire to Enter Graduate School: Applicants are required to be strongly committed to study at Wasedaâs particular graduate school of his/her primary choice. Applicants may not lodge their Ting Hsin Scholarship applications with two or more graduate schools. Failure to comply with this rule may result in losing eligibility for the scholarship.
- Nationality / Region:Â Applicants must be citizens of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau.
-Location of Residence:Â Applicants must be residing in China (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau) at the time of application.
- Academic Background:Â For September 2014 Entrance-Â Those who have graduated or are scheduled to graduate with an undergraduate degree from a university in China (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau) by September 2014;Â For April 2015 Entrance-Â Those who have graduated or are scheduled to graduate with an undergraduate degree from a university in China (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau) by March 2015.
-Age:Â Applicants must be under the age of 30 at the time of enrollment into a graduate school of Waseda University.
- In addition to the requirements above, Applicants must fulfill the application eligibility requirements specified by each graduate school.
Scholarship Open for International Students: Applicants must be citizens of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macau.
Scholarship Description: This scholarship is awarded for students who are accepted to International Graduate Program (Masterâs Program) after entrance examination (a document reviewing). Applicants are required to be strongly committed to study at Wasedaâs graduate school of his/her primary choice. Applicants must be residing in China, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan at the time of application and hold its nationality. Applicants must apply for this program from overseas, and have graduated (includes applicants who are expected to graduate by September 20, 2014) with an undergraduate degree from universities in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. All of the applicants must be under the age of 30 at the time of enrollment into the Graduate Schools of Waseda University.
Number of award(s): Scholarship is awarded only to few students. A combined total of approximately 80 candidates will be elected from the September 2014 and April 2015 enrollees.
Duration of award(s): Scholarships are awarded for the maximum duration of 2 years.
What does it cover?
(1) For recipients of the Ting Hsin Scholarship, the entrance fee, tuition, and miscellaneous fees will be financed by Ting Hsin International Group, Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp. and Waseda University during the period enrolled in Waseda University (for a maximum period of 24 months). Note: Tuitions and fees for non-degree subjects/courses which are not considered as basic requirements for completion of graduate school programs are not covered.
(2) JPY 1,500,000 per year will be provided for daily expenses (for a maximum period of 24Â months).

All applicants must complete and attach to their
admission applications either a scholarship application form designated by the graduate school or the Ting Hsin Scholarship application form.
