The Lauterpacht Centre for International Law is invited applications for the 2015 Brandon Research Fellowship. The Brandon Research Fellowship is intended to cover a stay of at least eight weeks at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law and has a maximum value of £3000 (GBP). Candidates for the Brandon Fellowship must be fluent in English and at least one of French, German or Spanish. This is a Post-Graduate research fellowship. Persons currently enrolled in PhD programs (in the UK or elsewhere) are not eligible to apply unless their final thesis has been submitted before the closing date for applications. The application deadline is 6th October 2014.

Scholarship Description: The Lauterpacht Centre for International Law is pleased to invite applications for the 2015 Brandon Research Fellowship, which continues to be funded by a generous gift, made in 2009, by Mr Michael Brandon (1923-2012). The Brandon Research Fellowship is intended to cover a stay of at least eight weeks at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law and has a maximum value of £3000 (GBP); any additional travel or other expenses will be the responsibility of the selected Fellow. Two awards may be made if the strength of the field warrants it. The Lauterpacht Centre provides a centre for research in Cambridge for legal practitioners and academics from around the world. The Brandon Fellow will be welcomed as part of the community of Visiting Fellows at the Centre and will undertake their own project research on some aspect of public or private international law or international arbitration.

-Two letters of reference.
