Humanity First is funding scholarships for international and Canadian students pursuing full-time studies in a certificate, diploma or degree program at a Canadian post-secondary school. Applicants must be 15 years old or older at the time of application. Up to twelve scholarships are available for the students. There are two types of scholarships available every year: The Ahmad Family Scholarship: $2,500 and Humanity First Champion Scholarship: $1,000. Online application deadline is 31st October 2014.

Scholarship Description: Humanity First believes in helping students become financially better off, both now and in the future. We understand the burden that financial stress can have on students. That’s why Humanity First wants to help make student life a little easier. Humanity First Scholarship is available to deserving students. Any student who is enrolled or will be enrolling in a Canadian post-secondary program will be eligible to apply.

Selection criteria: All qualifying entries will be evaluated by a judging panel comprised of educators, community leaders and representatives from the Sponsor and Student awards Inc. The following criteria will be used for evaluation:

-Grammar and spelling
-Overall content
