Blue Mountain Hotel School is inviting applications for college scholarships available for undergraduate or postgraduate degree program. A range of scholarships will be awarded for 2015 intake. Scholarships are available as follows: National Undergraduate Scholarships up to the value of AUD$20,000 each for Australian Citizens; Motivational Undergraduate Scholarships up to the value of AUD$3,000 each for Australian & New Zealand Citizens; State Undergraduate Scholarships up to the value of AUD$10,000 each for Australian Citizens and Motivational Postgraduate Scholarships up to the value of AUD$5,000 each for Australian & New Zealand Citizens.

Eligibility:
-Applicant must be the citizen of Australia or New Zealand
Undergraduate: The entry requirements into undergraduate hospitality courses at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) are as follows: All applicants must:
-Have completed an Australian Year 12 senior secondary school certificate or its approved international equivalent.
-If 12 years of education has not been completed, applicants with an equivalent Australian Year 11 and at least a Certificate IV qualification or a partially completed university degree may be considered.
-Be at least 18 years of age before the end of the first practical term.
-Provide original certified copies of any academic and professional qualifications (including the original language and translated document if applicable).
Postgraduate:
-Entry into a postgraduate hospitality degree program or into a Postgraduate program of Global Business Management at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School is based upon previous academic performance and proficiency in the English language.
All applicants must:
-Have completed a bachelor degree as recognized by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF 7).
-Original certified copies of all qualifications (including the original language and translated document if applicable).

Blue Mountains Hotel School is pleased to announce that there are a range of scholarships available 2015 intakes. The successful applicants will be requested to assist with certain duties during their time as a student. These responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, becoming members of the SRC and/or other student ambassadorial duties.

How to Apply: Applications should be submitted via post. Along with the form applicants have to submit
-A cover letter outlining their merit and need for the scholarship, personal qualities and achievements as well future aspirations. For the National Scholarships this needs to be at least 500 words.
-Resume outlining their schooling, work experience, extracurricular activities, career goals, interests and hobbies etc.
-Certified copies of any certificates and transcripts received (including year 11 & 12 results where applicable).
-Letters of reference from a teacher, or employer
