Morphomata Center for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, Cologne is awarding fellowship programme for students from April 2015 to September 2015. The applicant must have the status of at least an assistant professor (or equivalent) and should have a strong research focus on studies in biography/life writing and/or portraiture. The fellowships are advertised and international humanities scholars of all disciplines are encouraged to apply.Fellowship is provided to 1o students for a period of 3 to 6 months. A fellowship includes an adequate monthly allowance and will be provided with office facilities and participate in the academic life of both the Center and the University of Cologne. Eligibility: Â As a prerequisite for a Morphomata Fellowship, the fellow must have the status of at least an assistant professor (or equivalent) and should have a strong research focus on studies in biography/life writing and/or portraiture. An alternative research focus could be in theoretical aspects of the formation, dynamics and mediality of cultural figurations.
